After I had my third baby, I started researching triple strollers and stroller wagons, trying to find the best way to transport my three kids ages 3 and under.
Why I Decided on the Keenz Vyoo 4
After extensive research and going back and forth between the options, I decided on the Keenz vyo͞o4 Stroller Wagon for these reasons:
- I thought a stroller wagon would be more versatile and we could use it much longer than a triple stroller.
- The Keenz Vyoo 4 is a newer model, so it was cheaper than most other stroller wagons on the market that have similar features.
- I love the sleek look of the wagon.
- I was excited about the versatility of the seating in the Keenz vyo͞o4 (nicknamed the seating chameleon).
- The Keenz vyo͞o4 included a snack tray, sun canopy, and storage caddy in the base price (many stroller wagons require you to buy these accessories separately).
- The Jeep stroller wagon was another option I was strongly considering, but it was back-ordered and did not have a known re-stock date.
I was a little nervous about purchasing the Keenz vyo͞o4, given that it did not have many reviews or content made about it at the time since it was a newer model.
I am SO glad I took a gamble and tried it out. We have had the Keenz vyo͞o4 for over 3 months now, and we love it. My husband and I often say that it is one of the best purchases we have made. It has been a game-changer for our family with 2 toddlers and a newborn.
I am going to share all of the things I love about the Keenz vyo͞o4 Stroller Wagon (the pros) and the things that I don’t like (the cons) so that you can decide if it will be a good fit for your family.
What We Love About the Keenz Vyoo 4
1. Four-Seat Capacity
As the name suggests, the Vyoo4 can comfortably accommodate up to four children, making it ideal for families with multiple kids. We even fit 5 toddlers in it with the seats removed.
The wagon is very spacious and leaves us with room to grow. Because the seats are elevated, you can store things under them, so it can still fit a decent amount of “stuff” along with the kids.
We currently have a newborn and two toddlers. We have used a couple of different seating configurations, but our most common is to put my two toddlers on one seat and set our baby’s Chicco infant car seat in the remaining space.
2. Seating Versatility
I love how many different configurations are possible with the Keenz Vyo͞o. The short sides of the wagon (the sides with push/pull bars) roll down so kids can sit facing out with their feet hanging outside the wagon.
The seats and snack tray easily clip on and off, making it easy to switch things up. If either seat is facing outwards, the snack tray must be in to support the back of the outward-facing seat.
The Vyo͞o4 offers four different seating configurations with both seats installed:
- Both seats facing forward (bus style looking away from the pusher)
- Both seats facing backward (bus style looking toward the pusher)
- Both seats facing out opposite ways (front and rear walls rolled down)
- Both seats facing in toward each other (booth style)
Alternate configurations:
- No seats
- One seat only (facing any direction)
- One seat and an infant car seat
- One seat and an infant lounger (Dock-a-Tot, SnuggleMe, etc.)
- Two infant car seats
With certain configurations, the seats can recline to allow for napping or lounging. Seats are for kids 6mo+ and up to 55lbs (each).
3. Beautiful Design
I love the look of the Keenz Vyo͞o4. It’s sleek and high-end looking. The leather handlebar is gorgeous. Plus the Keenz logo is cool.
We have the black model, but it also comes in beautiful gray and mocha color options.
I think this is one of the prettiest stroller wagons on the market. Other than the Wonderfold Volkswagen edition – but that’s more than 2x the price of the Keenz Vyo͞o4. 🙃
4. Durability
The vyo͞o4 is built with a strong, high-quality frame that supports substantial weight (326 lbs).
We use it every day and take it in/out of our vehicle frequently, and (so far) it has held up perfectly. I will update this if we start to have issues.
Equipped with sturdy, all-terrain wheels, the Vyoo is designed to handle various surfaces smoothly. We have used it on grass, gravel, pavement, and sand.
The vyo͞o4 is JPMA certified, meaning it meets the highest safety standards.
5. Includes Multiple Accessories
Many other popular stroller wagons require you to buy accessories separately.
These vyo͞o4 accessories are included:
- Two high-back, padded seats with 5-point harness buckles
- Adjustable canopy for shade/rain – sides can be rolled down for extra coverage
- Spacious snack tray
- Large storage bag
- Small storage pockets on each side
Additional Accessories We Purchased (But You Don’t Need)
- Itzy Ritzy Parent Caddy – I put one of these on every stroller I own because they are beautiful and functional – I used these clips to make it fit on the wide wagon handlebar
- Removable floor mat
- Bag Hook
- Stroller Fan
- Universal Snack Tray – this can be attached to the bar when kids are facing outward (see picture below)
6. Comfortable to Push
The Vyoo has handles on both ends and can be pushed or pulled. The pulling feature is nice when going through sand, pulling it up a curb, etc.
The handle is adjustable and ergonomically designed for comfortable maneuvering. It can be adjusted to 10 different positions.
My husband is 6’3″ and wears size 14 shoes. He often complains when trying to push a stroller because he often has to hunch over and his feet run into the wheels. He has no problems pushing the vyo͞o4, and it is also comfortable for me to push at 5’6″.
7. Easy to Clean
Toddlers are messy and my kids often eat and drink in our wagon. Thankfully the fabric is wipable and has been easy to keep clean.
8. Compact Foldability
When I saw it folds compactly, keep in mind that it folds compactly for a four-seater wagon. It’s definitely not small.
But I can fit it in the back of my small SUV (Nissan Rogue). I have to take the rear wheels off to get it to fit, but thankfully they are super easy to take on/off.
9. It’s Extremely Practical & Can Be Used Many Ways
Each time I am out and about with our wagon, I get comments like this from people: “Wow that thing is awesome!” or “I wish I had that when my kids were little!”.
Here are the different ways we have used our Keenz Vyoo4:
- Transporting our 3 kids when traveling, at sporting events, farmers’ markets, etc.
- Going on walks/runs with 3+ kids
- Going to the beach – carrying all of our beach gear and kids (can be pulled through the sand)
- Moving into apartment units for our rental business (it saved us SO much time)
- On-the-go picnics for our toddlers
- A playpen/safe space to put our baby in outside
- Our toddlers love spreading their toys out and playing with them inside the wagon (with the seats out)
- Shopping (it fits through doorways)
- We plan to use it for our kids’ activities and sporting events when they get older
Things We Don’t Love About the Keenz Vyoo 4
Most of the “cons” apply to any stroller/wagon that fits 4 children.
1. Hard to Push on Inclines
Pushing this wagon is a workout. It is much harder to push and steer if you have toddlers or older kids facing outward in the front of the wagon. It can be a little bit hard to turn and maneuver, but overall isn’t too bad for how big it is and how much it holds.
One super difficult thing that I wasn’t anticipating is pushing it on sidewalks or terrain that is slightly sloped or uneven. You have to strain to keep the wagon corrected/moving straight if there is any type of side slant on the path you’re walking on.
2. It’s Heavy
The Keenz Vyoo 4 is 50.7 pounds. It can feel heavy to push at times and may be difficult for some people to lift it in/out of vehicles.
But of course, we have to keep in mind that this wagon holds 4 kids (326-pound capacity). Any wagon/stroller that can hold that many kids isn’t going to be light and compact.
3. The Sun/Rain Cover is a Little Tedious
We don’t use the weather cover unless it’s really hot/sunny or raining hard. I think it’s annoying to put up and take down. It’s not terribly hard, but in this instant gratification era, it feels inconvenient. 🙃
It has four sides that can come down so the kids are completely covered – we used this feature in a rainstorm on the 4th of July and the kids were dry and happy in their little “tent”.
When you are done using the sides, you have to roll them back up and attach them with little clips underneath the canopy. Again, not hard, just inconvenient.
4. It’s Expensive
At the time of writing this, the Keenz Vyoo 4 is $649. That’s a lot of money. But compared to other 4-seater stroller wagons on the market, it is actually a decent price, especially given all of the accessories it includes.
We purchased our Keenz Vyoo on Amazon. If you are welcoming a baby into your family (as we were), I highly recommend creating an Amazon Baby Registry (even if you aren’t having a baby shower!) and using the 15% discount to purchase the wagon. This saved us nearly $100!
You can also purchase the wagon through the Keenz website. I have seen it as low as $585 on the Keenz site, so make sure to check that and Amazon to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
The hefty price tag for our 4-seater stroller wagon was worth it for us because we love it and use it daily.
Final Thoughts
We love our Keenz Vyoo 4 Stroller Wagon and highly recommend it, especially for families with multiple young kids.
Overall, the positives strongly outweigh the negatives for us, and it has improved our lives with 3 kids under 4!
I hope this review was helpful!
