21 Gifts for Travel Lovers in Your Life
1. Portable Charger
A portable charger is such a useful gift. Keep all of those devices charged on the go. This one is perfect for those who love to camp or hike because it is solar-powered and has a built-in flashlight!
2. Mountain Earrings
I have and love these mountain earrings. They are sterling silver, and they don’t irritate my ears and have held up well for over a year. I love that they subtly show off the mountain peaks. They are fun, but still classy at the same time.

3. Lightweight Hiking Backpack
This is my favorite bag for short day hikes. It folds up so small for travel and is very lightweight. I have two of these bags, and both have held up well for 3+ years. There are many color options to choose from.
4. Hiking Socks
These hiking socks are cushy and comfy and come in sizes for men and women. They are made of wool and would be very warm in cold weather.
Here is a shorter pair that would be good in warmer weather or if you prefer hiking shoes over hiking boots. This pair also comes in a variety of men’s and women’s sizes.
5. Lightweight Travel Chair
I love taking this little chair on trips. I also keep it in the back of my car, and it is perfect for situations that I need a chair for because it seems like I always forget to put our big folding chairs in the car when we need them.
It hardly takes up any space in the back of your car and fits well in a suitcase or large backpack. It is easy to fold and unfold.
It’s not like sitting in a La-Z-Boy, but it is decently comfortable for how small and lightweight it is. I will say that my husband, who is 6’2″ refuses to use this chair because he feels like it is going to collapse. So this gift might be better suited for smaller recipients.
6. Uber or Lyft Gift Card
This feels a little more personalized and thoughtful to me than just a standard gift card. The travel lover in your life can use this on their adventures.
7. Packing Cubes
I have tried many different packing cubes, and it seems like I am always replacing them because the zippers are always breaking. I am probably trying to shove too many things in each cube, but isn’t that the point of them?!
These are some of the best packing cubes I have tried. I have only used them on a couple of trips so far, but they have held up well. They come in many different colors and patterns.
8. Passport Case
This RFID blocking passport holder doubles as a wallet and comes in ten different colors. It is classy and functional.
9. Travel Hammock
This portable hammock folds up nicely and is small for transport. It includes tree straps and hooks and comes in 15 different colors. It also comes in two sizes – medium and large. This hammock has over 30,000 five-star reviews.
I love my travel hammock. They are great for relaxing in, and I have even slept in mine overnight on the beach when I was on an island in Japan and didn’t have lodging. This would make a great gift for anyone who just wants to hang out or needs a safe place to relax or rest while on adventures.
10. Travel Planner/Journal
This little travel planner has it all. Template pages allow you to plan your travels. There are pages for budget planning, packing lists, expense tracking, and journaling about your adventures. This journal is highly rated and comes in ten different colors.
11. Water Bottle
A reusable water bottle is a great gift for someone who loves to travel. There are many different water bottles that you can choose from, but this one is my favorite. It comes in six different colors and 20 oz or 32 oz options.
I like having a straw on my water bottles because I feel like it motivates me to drink more. This bottle is insulated stainless steel so it is very sturdy, doesn’t sweat, and keeps water cold for a long time.
12. Travel First Aid Kit
Not exactly the most glamorous gift, but definitely practical! This travel first aid kit has 110 pieces but is super compact and perfect for a hiking backpack or travel bag. This gift shows the travel lover in your life that you care about their safety and well-being!
13. Travel Pillow
This travel pillow bundle is highly rated. It comes with a memory foam pillow, travel case, eye mask, and earplugs. The pillow also has a removable cover that can be washed. All of the comfort essentials that you need during your travels.
14. AllTrails Subscription
I am not affiliated with AllTrails – I just think it is awesome. AllTrails is a great platform for anyone who likes hiking, walking, running, or biking trails.
Whether using the app or the web version, you can easily find any trails in your area. AllTrails tells you the elevation gain, difficulty, and other details about each trail. You can read reviews and view photos from others who have been on the trails before. It is a super helpful platform when deciding which trails are right for you.
The free version is wonderful and offers a lot, but for $30/year or $60 for a three-year plan, you can get the pro version which allows users to download maps for offline use (like when you are in the middle of nowhere on a trail and don’t have service), among other things. Click here to see what all comes with the pro version and to purchase it.
15. Travel Laundry Bag
This laundry bag zips up very compactly for travel. When expanded, it holds a lot of clothes.
I take my travel laundry bag on every trip. I hate when dirty laundry is mixed with clean clothes in my bag, so this takes care of that problem.
It is also better for the environment than using those disposable plastic bags hotels offer for dirty laundry – plus those always seem to rip and don’t hold as much.
16. National Parks Sweatshirt
This is one of my favorite sweatshirts. It is cozy, and I love the design. This sweatshirt is unisex and comes in a variety of sizes and colors.
17. Portable Electronics Organizer
I have this electronics case to keep my cords and small electronics organized while traveling. It holds a lot, but it can be a little too big and bulky for some trips.
This one is smaller and more compact, so I take this one if I don’t have as many electronics to carry.
18. Magnetic License Plate Game
This is one of my favorite gifts for travel lovers! This is the version of the game that I have from Etsy, but there is a similar option on Amazon.
This game provides entertainment for kids and adults on a road trip. I am a grown adult and still love playing the license plate game on road trips!
The great part about this game is that when you are done playing, you can close it up and all of the magnetic pieces stay inside. This makes it super easy to transport.
19. Hiking Poles
You can get hiking poles for hundreds of dollars, but I think this set is an excellent value. I have done some long hikes with these, including the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim, and they worked perfectly for me.
If you disassemble them, they will fit into carry-on luggage or a tall backpack. You can choose from any of the colors shown.
20. Weekender Bag
This travel bag looks sleek and is very functional. It is waterproof and comes in 7 different color options. It slides onto your luggage handle for easy transport and is carry-on compliant. The bag has many different pockets and compartments to maximize space and keep you organized.
21. Scratch Off Map
A scratch-off map is a really fun way to check places off of your bucket list and document your travels. I have a United States scratch-off map, but a world map would be great for a global traveler. These maps are a neat decor piece and are great conversation starters.
I hope you found something on this list of 21 gifts for travel lovers for the adventure lover in your life!
